  The Soul body is the threefold principle of creative imagination, receptivity and feeling perception and holds the recorded memories of the life stream of Consciousness. The Soul acts as the repository of accumulated memories from the physical or external experiences that are translated into the internal energetic reality of the consciousness of our being. These many lifetimes of experiences are recorded into the soul body which translates into memories that are embedded in the cellular matrix of our body. We can retrieve these cellular memories through our sensory feelings, such as when we feel empathy for others or by recognizing familiarity in situations, which create higher emotional body resonances in the consciousness body.   The brain is always physically changing at its cellular levels with respect to what is newly experienced or perceived and it is constantly adjusting to the new meanings that are being assigned to recent events or with shifting and changing experiences. The physical changes involve the sprouting of new energetic receiver connections being made among and between the brain's neurons and synapses, and elsewhere within the nervous system. These newly activated receivers end up as a new circuit or circuitry pattern that will produce a jolt of meaning recognition in the Mental Map if and when, the experience or meanings are encountered again at some point in the future.
